As tomorrow meting has been fixed with senior BJP leaders I request each and every member to please send the mail to the following e-mail ids-ravis@sansad.nic.in and ysinha@sansad.nic.in
Sir,
We (approximately 15000 candidates) are candidates of IBPS PO2 exam . The first step of procedure commences with a Common written exam(CWE) and the exam was held on 17/06/2012. After clearing the CWE second step of the process was interview which was held on 23/01/2013.We have cleared both the CWE and the interview. Still remains unemployed. We are raising our grave concern over certain issues that are being continuously ignored at all levels, be it at the level of administration of IBPS/PARTICIPANT BANKS AND THE CONCERNED MINISTRY OF CENTRAL GOVERNMENT. We humbly request you to go through certain points of concerns regarding the PO2 recruitment process. The entire procedure is summarized as follows:
1. IBPS notification was published in the month of March 2012 and the registration process commenced on 09-03-2012.
2. CWE was held on June 2012.
3. Approximately 63000 candidates were shortlisted for the interview which was held in January 2013(from approximately 8 lakh applicants applied for CWE).
4. Approximately 48000 candidates cleared the interview in March 2013 and we got a valid score card for a period upto March 2014.
5. Thereafter as per the instructions received from IBPS the candidates filled the preference list from the 21 participating banks.
6. In the first round allotment was made to fill 22000 vacancies in the participant banks in March 2013 and IBPS came with second round of allotment of approximately 6000 vacancies in the participant banks and 105 vacancies were filled by newly established Bharathiya Mahila Bank.
As per a report published on the Hindustan Times dated 24 th September 2013.

This news has raised severe questions on the conduct of exam itself.

7. We are raising our grave concern over certain issues that are being continuously ignored at all levels, be it at the level of administration of IBPS/PARTICIPATING BANKS AND CONCERNED MINISTRY UNDER GOVERNMENT OF INDIA. We humbly request you to please go through certain points of concerns over the lack of transparency on the entire PO-2 recruitment process. These points are left unattended/unanswered at all levels. Requesting your intervention on the subject matter so that the concerned authorities can be made answerable to 15000 candidates whose future of had been put in abeyance.
8. IBPS always claims that the recruitment is conducted on the basis of a merit cum preference list after taking into consideration both the scores of common written exam and interview. However this merit list has not availed to the aspirants.
9. Mean while without appointing candidates from second Common Written Examination the IBPS has issued notification for third Common Written Examination. New notification for third Common Written Examination while the second Common Written Examination’s validity is not expired and with only intention to collect huge application fees of Rs. 600/- from each candidate and thus affecting badly the unemployed youths of the nation. The fact that the candidates who has written the examination after preparations and were eligible for appointment in any of the 21 public sector banks which is a participating bank in IBPS examination. IBPS did not issue rank list, waiting list etc. The application fee for IBPS examination also increased tremendously from Rs.400/- to Rs. 600/-. In this way the participating 21 Public Sector Banks have a malicious intention to generate huge turnover and profit.
10. During this period many candidates have lost chances as they have patiently waited and has now disqualified from appearing in several exam .
11. IBPS has never provided any exact figures(even after filing a RTI dated 23/09/2013 through via Dept. of Financial Services) on total number applicants, total number of candidates cleared the CWE, total number of candidates shortlisted for the interview, total number of candidates cleared the interview, total number of persons who are in waiting list etc. We (approximately 15000 candidates) are candidates of IBPS PO2 exam.
12. Since we candidates remains largely unorganised candidates were compelled to approach several High Courts[vide Writ Petition(Civil)-18099/2013 in Kerala High Court, Writ petition (civil) 48738/2013 in Allahabad High Court] and so on.... ).
13. Several protest had been organised against this flawed system and policies followed by IBPS. The following links will provide news published in several newspapers about the protests which were held across the nation.

We humbly request you take necessary steps in order to highlight these issues to the policy makers and find an amicable solution to the grave sitaution which determines the fate of career of thousands of aspirants.

With regards,
15000 candidates.
